Fascinating Kyrgyzstan: discover a country with a deep history and incredible nature that will surround you everywhere.

Tour program
6 days
Bishkek, Karakol, Barskaun gorge, Fairy Tale canyon, Son-Kul Lake, Kyzyl Oi

On the first day we will head from Bishkek to Karakol city, low-rise town with backstreets full of Russian gingerbread cottages.

Our first big stop will be at the Burana complex - we will visit the tower, which dates back to the X-XI centuries. Burana is one of the oldest structures on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The height of the tower is more than 20 meters, and it has a beautiful view from the top! We will explore all the most interesting objects on the territory of the historical complex and then continue our journey to Issyk Kul.

After Burana tower finally we will head to Issyk Kul region. On the way we will stop in Cholpon Ata city, where we will have lunch.

Later this evening we arrive to Karakol, we will stay in a guest house created by a Kyrgyz-Dutch family and go for a dinner.

Second day will be one most active days, so you will need a lot of energy. Early in the morning we will leave our guest house, and will head to the south shore of Issyk Kul.

On the way we will visit Djety Oguz gorge, famous for its red rocks. This is an amazing place! The slopes of the mountains are covered with coniferous forest, the dirty road leaves to the high-mountain meadows, and somewhere in the depths of the gorge is hidden small but beautiful waterfall. Djety Oguz can be explored on foot, by car or by riding horses in a small village very close to (horses are given for an extra fee).

After walking in Djety Oguz gorge we will go to Barskaun gorge, famous for its waterfalls. The gorge is also famous because it was visited by the first man who flew into space – Yuri Gagarin. This is an amazing place!

Then we will go to Fairy Tale canyon. A small gorge “Fairy Tale canyon” is a picturesque place where you can see the red clay rocks, which under the influence of soil erosion have acquired a bizarre appearance, it is not for nothing that it was called “Fairy Tale”, because among the rocks, by using imagination you can see different characters.

For dinner we will come to yurt camp. To our arrival dinner will be ready. Overnight will be in yurts.

After breakfast in the yurt camp we will head to Naryn area, where is the Son-Kul lake located. On the way we will have lunch in Kochkor village, place where you can have not only lunch, but also visit souvenir shop.

Finally, in the late afternoon we will come to Son-Kul lake. Son-Kul is an alpine lake, located at an altitude 3016 meters. We will stay in yurts, taste delicious national dishes and have a rest after a long road.

After breakfast in the yurt we will go to one of the most ancient sights of our country - Tash Rabat caravanserai. Once, hundreds of years ago, caravans passing along the Silk Road stopped there. No one knows when and by whom this place was built, but the nomads who lived on these lands honored him very much.

The road to Tash Rabat will be very beautiful - we will descend from Son-Kul along the Moldo-Ashu pass, and then we will drive along the road passing from the Baetov village. We will arrive to Tash Rabat in the afternoon, have lunch in yurts and then go to explore the caravanserai itself. Overnight in the yurt.

In the morning we will head to Kyzyl Oi village. Towards lunchtime, we will arrive to Kyzyl Oi village, located on the banks of the turbulent river among the beautiful mountains. We will have a few hours to get acquainted with life in the village and walk around the surrounding mountains. Then will be dinner.

On the last day of the tour we will go to Bishkek via Suusamyr high mountain valley, the road to Bishkek passes through the Too-Ashu pass, the longest tunnel in Kyrgyzstan (about 3 kilometers). You will see the old road, on which these mountains crossed before the tunnel was built, and you will hear an interesting story of a strong man Kozhomkul, who once, according to legend, had carried his horse over this pass. Once on the other side of the mountain range, you will see a beautiful valley, which in ancient times was very popular among the nomads living on these lands.

Afternoon we will be already in Bishkek. After the tour, we can drop you to the hotel or directly to Manas airport (no extra charge).
