Bishkek - Karakol - hiking in the mountains - Bishkek

After meeting at the airport, we will go along the northern shore of the Issyk-Kul lake to the city of Karakol. On the way, we will visit the architectural and archaeological complex “Burana Tower”, which is evidence of the existence of the ancient city of Balasaguni, through which the Great Silk Road route ran. We will also stop at Ruh-Ordo, an open-air museum on the shore of Issyk-Kul. After a walk through the museum, we will continue our journey to Karakol. Upon arrival in the city, we will have dinner and get settled in a cozy guest house.

At your request, we can visit the mineral hot springs, which will remove all fatigue, and allow you to relax as much as possible after a long trip (please note that visiting the sources depends on the weather, as well as on the length of daylight hours). For the night we will stay in Karakol.

After breakfast, together with our good friend and experienced guide, who knows the surroundings of the city and all the mountain routes, we will go to the Dzhety-Oguz gorge, which will meet us with its majestic red rocks. After a drive deep into the gorge, we will start the trek for 3-4 hours. In the evening we will arrive under the Telety Pass, where we will stay overnight in tents.

After breakfast, we will go to conquer the Telety Pass (altitude 3800m). Climbing up to the pass, we will stop for lunch, and then continue on our way, going down to the Telety gorge, and then to the Karakol gorge. At the confluence of the two gorges, we will have dinner and stay for the night.

On this day, after breakfast, we will go to the bridge leading to the high mountain lake Ala-Kul, located in another part of the gorge. After the descent to the bridge, we have to climb to the camp "Sirota". After dinner we will have free time for walking and preparing the tents for the night.

Today we are expected to climb to the high mountain lake Ala-Kul, which is fascinating for it's beauty. After a short halt we will go to the Ala-Kul Pass, which also impresses with its views. Then we will descend from the pass to the Keldyke gorge, arrange dinner and stay overnight.

After breakfast, we will continue our descent, heading for the Altyn-Arashan valley. Arriving in the valley, we will have the opportunity to visit the mineral hot springs, the water temperature in which reaches about 50 degrees Celsius. A great vacation option after a long hike. You can also take a walk around the neighborhood on foot or on horseback. In the evening, dinner will be prepared for us, consisting of national Kyrgyz dishes. We will spend the night in yurts.

After breakfast, you can also take a hot morning pool before returning to Karakol. Then we will go on horseback to the beginning of the Altyn-Arashan gorge, where a car will be waiting for us, and we will return to the guest house in Karakol.

On this day we will drive along the southern shore of the Issyk-Kul lake in the direction of Bishkek. On the way, we will visit the Fairy Tale canyon, which literally fascinate with its unusual beauty, and then we will have lunch in a yurt camp on the shore of Issyk-Kul. We will arrive in the city in the late afternoon, taking you to your hotel with a lot of vivid impressions and good memories of Kyrgyzstan!
